Expanding Frontiers: Mark Pilkington

Mark Pilkington is a writer, editor and filmmaker. While perhaps best known for Mirage Men, his journalism has been published by The Fortean Times, The Guardian, The Times and The Wire, and he’s contributed to anthologies published by Serpents Tail and Canongate. He is the publisher of the Strange Attractor Journal (www.strangeattractor.co.uk) which was described in the Independent on Sunday’s Best of the Year 2005 as ‘a unique and necessary collection of eccentric scholarship, weird journalism and obsessive research’. In his spare time Mark broadcasts on London’s Resonance FM, and performs with the sci-art sound project Disinformation and a number of experimental musical outfits.
